From President Robert Bronstein:

Saturday, April 25, at 12:15PM we're planning a club lunch at the Codfather restaurant located at 1618 East Bell Road, Phoenix 85022. We came across this English Pub one day and thought it would be a great place for club members to have some traditional pub faire and socialize. The owners of the Pub, Mark & Ruth are from the UK and take pride in offering authentic English faire including Fish & Chips, Steak & Kidney Pie, Bubble & Squeak, Bangers & Mash, etc. Mark & Ruth also have a small grocery in the restaurant selling an assortment of English delicacies. If you are free please stop in for a fun filled delicious visit.

Wednesday, May 6, at 6:30PM the First Wednesday Club Meeting we'll test a new location at Carrabba’s Italian Grill located at 17027 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85255 (Scottsdale Road and Frank Lloyd Wright). We have arranged for a multi-course dinner including non-alcoholic beverages for $23.00 (including tax and tip!). We know this location is a bit north for many members, however the pricing was right, the private room quiet (and private) and the food is very tasty. Our plan is to try a couple of different restaurants that have private meeting rooms and let the club membership select the location going forward. If you have ideas of restaurants either in the Camelback corridor or Downtown Scottsdale that can accommodate our group, let us know as we have not had great success locating a restaurant with private meeting space and a reasonable price in either of these more centrally located areas.

Saturday, May 9, morning Peach Festival time at Schnepf Farms and the peaches and treats are to die for! We are tentatively planning to drive to Queen Creek, pick some Schnepf peaches right from the trees, enjoy some shopping (lots of peachy items) and then head over to the Queen Creek Olive Oil Company for a tour, tasting and lunch. Those wanting one more foodie adventure can also drive over to The Pork Shop for some of the best sausages we’ve ever eaten!

Saturday, May 23, time and location TBD for our next drive sponsored by Jaguar North Scottsdale. We have one suggestion for Strawberry/Pinetop that sounds quite appealing. I expect to have a decision and final details for this drive in a week or so. For now save the date for a morning drive followed by what we know will be a great lunch. I saved the best for last. I'm pleased to announce that JCCA will be hosting the 2016 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and International Jaguar Festival which will be held March 31 – April 6, 2016. We are planning a kick-off meeting in May to start the planning process and initiate volunteer committees to drive the many activities that will need to be orchestrated for this National Event.
