Assignment: Lunch in Jerome

It was the simplest of car club drives: meet, scatter, lunch, scatter and head home. Better still, for this group, lunch was at The Asylum Restaurant in Jerome. Appropriate, no?

The drive on Saturday, June 25, began at a coffee shop at I-17 and Carefree Highway, where organizers Robert and Debbie Bronstein handed us a route sheet that said (in so many words), I-17 to 89A and we'll see you at the top of the hill.

Lunch at the popular restaurant in the Jerome Grand Hotel (a former hospital) was excellent and drew about 20 JCCA members.
